Tasty Tuesday: Pinot Noir Harvest Board

Paired with Ketcham 2022 Pinot Noir Five Clone

As the first day of autumn arrives, it is the perfect time to welcome the season with a pairing that feels warm, inviting, and beautifully simple.

This week’s Tasty Tuesday celebrates fall with a Pinot Noir Harvest Board — a delicious arrangement of cheeses, charcuterie, fruit, nuts, artisan bread, and sweet seasonal touches designed to pair wonderfully with Ketcham 2022 Pinot Noir Five Clone.

A harvest board is one of the easiest and most elegant ways to entertain. It brings together savory, sweet, creamy, and earthy flavors that make every bite a little different, while a glass of Pinot Noir ties everything together. Whether you are enjoying a quiet evening on the patio or gathering with friends, this pairing offers a beautiful way to savor the start of autumn.

Ingredients:

Cheeses

  • 1 small wheel or wedge of brie
  • 1 wedge aged white cheddar or Manchego
  • Optional: goat cheese or triple cream cheese for added variety

Charcuterie

  • 4–6 oz prosciutto
  • 4–6 oz salami or soppressata

Fresh Fruit

  • 1 bunch red grapes
  • 1 apple, thinly sliced
  • 2–3 fresh figs, halved

Savory Additions

  • 1 small bowl mixed olives
  • 1 small handful walnuts or pecans
  • Fresh rosemary sprigs for garnish

Sweet Additions

  • 1 small bowl fig jam or preserves
  • Small handful dried cranberries
  • A few squares dark chocolate

Bread & Crackers

  • Sliced baguette or crostini
  • Assorted crackers

Directions:

  1. Choose your board or platter.
Use a large wooden board, slate tray, or serving platter.
  2. Place the cheeses first.
Start by setting the brie and aged cheese on different areas of the board. If using a soft cheese, you may leave it whole or partially slice it for easy serving.
  3. Add the charcuterie.
Fold the prosciutto into loose ribbons and arrange the salami in small overlapping circles or folded layers.
  4. Build with fruit.
Add bunches of grapes, halved figs, and sliced apples around the board to bring in color and seasonal freshness.
  5. Fill small spaces.
Place olives, fig jam, dried cranberries, nuts, and dark chocolate into open spots around the board. Use small bowls for olives and jam if desired.
  6. Add bread and crackers.
Arrange crostini, baguette slices, and crackers along the edges of the board for easy grabbing.
  7. Finish with garnish.
Tuck in fresh rosemary sprigs for fragrance and a beautiful autumn look.
  8. Serve with wine.
Pour glasses of Ketcham 2022 Pinot Noir Five Clone and enjoy.

Why It Pairs So Well

A harvest board offers a wonderful mix of flavors and textures, and Ketcham 2022 Pinot Noir Five Clone is a natural companion.

The wine pairs beautifully with:

  • the earthy richness of charcuterie,
  • the creaminess of brie,
  • the nuttiness of aged cheese,
  • the sweetness of figs and fruit,
  • and even the touch of dark chocolate.

This combination creates an easy, relaxed food-and-wine experience that feels especially fitting for the first day of fall.

From Our Table to Yours

One of the best things about a harvest board is how effortless it can be. There is no complicated cooking, no strict rules, and no wrong way to enjoy it. It is simply a beautiful collection of seasonal flavors meant to be shared.

This first day of autumn, pour a glass of Ketcham 2022 Pinot Noir Five Clone, gather a few favorite ingredients, and create a board that invites everyone to slow down and enjoy the season.

Cheers to another Tasty Tuesday from the Ketcham Table.
