This week our culinary journey brings us to Frankfurt, Germany, where one of the city's most beloved traditions is Frankfurter Schnitzel with Green Sauce. This refreshing herb sauce has been a Frankfurt favorite for generations and is the perfect companion to crispy schnitzel and roasted potatoes. Pair it with a chilled glass of Ketcham Estate Viognier, and you'll enjoy a meal that captures the fresh flavors and warm hospitality of Germany. Whether you're traveling with us in spirit or planning to join us on our 2027 European River Cruise, we hope this recipe brings a little taste of Frankfurt right to your dinner table! 🇩🇪🍷

🍷 Why It Pairs with Viognier

Ketcham Estate's Viognier offers vibrant aromas of peach, apricot, citrus blossom, and subtle spice. Those flavors beautifully complement the herbaceous freshness of Frankfurt's Green Sauce while balancing the richness of the crispy schnitzel. The wine's acidity also refreshes the palate after every bite, making it a perfect summer pairing.
